For sixteen years, Big & Rich's "Comin' To Your City" heralded the start of each weekend's college football schedule. The song acted as the theme song for ESPN's "College Game Day," and while it was the perfect kickoff to the weekend, its run is coming to an end.
Big & RIch jumped on social media yesterday to announce that it was time to pass the torch. "It's been a great sixteen years, being the voices of the 'College Game Day' open," Big Kenny started off. John Rich joined in. "And now we're excited to officially pass the torch to these extremely talented artists. We can't say who just yet, but tune in to ESPN on Saturday, September 2 at 9am to find out." Will it be "Comin' To Your City" sung by other performers? A new song and artist altogether? We'll find out September 2.
