I have a question.
So I am a Junior at a public high school and every morning we have an optional Pledge of Allegiance. I stand up and say it every morning but the majority of my school doesn't.
In my class of 27 kids, only about 10 of us actually stand up and say it. Is this rude and disrespectful to our nation and the people who serve in it? Not to long ago it wasn't something that had to be claimed as optional, why is it that kids and families are getting more upset about the Pledge of Allegiance?
We are Americans, we should be thankful to live in such a great country that provides us with way more than we could ever need.
