The St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Tuesday, March 17th. The Parade begins at 10:15 a.m. following celebration of Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Parade Route Map

Twitter/Facebook St. Patrick's Day updates
The City of Savannah will be using the social media Web sites Facebook and Twitter to broadcast St. Patrick's Day information and news. The City anticipates posting timely announcements that impact attendees and local businesses, such as street closures. Visitors, residents and business owners can visit www.facebook.com/cityofsavannah to become a Fan of the City and receive the St. Patrick's Day notices. City of Savannah Facebook entries also automatically appear in the City's Twitter account, which the public can follow at www.twitter.com/cityofsavannah.
St. Patrick's Festival on Historic River Street
The Savannah Waterfront Association hosts a festival along the waterfront, including River Street from East Broad Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Festivities include games, food, beverages, and live entertainment. http://riverstreetsavannah.com/events/
River Street Information
River Street will be closed to traffic throughout the festival. The Parade Route will be closed to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. through 2 p.m. Bay Street will be closed during the Parade. Vehicles will not be allowed on Bay St. during these times. Vehicles parked on the parade route must be moved by 1:30PM on Sunday, March 16. The affected areas will be those blocks of Bull Street from Oglethorpe Lane to Harris Street, including the west side of Chippewa Square. Also affected are the blocks of Abercorn Street from Liberty Street to Gordon Lane. This includes the west side of LaFayette Square and the east side of Calhoun Square.
