People have all sorts of reasons to renew their wedding vows: it's romantic, it can include those that weren't there at the original wedding, or, if you are Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO, you have an entirely different reason.
When the couple were married back in 2016, it was in Las Vegas, and it was in the middle of some memory-altering partying. In the years since, the two could never actually recall with any certainty their exact wedding anniversary - one thought it was August 30, the other thought it was the 31st.
Jelly tells the story that, when they were back in Vegas earlier this year, they decided to resolve it in a new, novel way: they'd renew their vows - sober - and that way they'd have an anniversary they could recall. Also, as Jelly explains it, “It is officially - I think - September 1st. And September 1st felt right, because we thought it was between the 30th and 31st, so I said, ‘Well, now we can just both be wrong and just set it on the first.’ Even money that way," he says.
