Taylor Swift may have embraced being a pop star but she hasn’t completely forgotten about her country fans. In fact, they’ll soon be hearing her on the radio once again.
The singer’s label, Big Machine Label Group, has sent her “reputation” track “New Year’s Day” to country radio. Unlike the pop heavy tunes on “reputation” like “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?,” “New Year’s Day,” the final track on the album, is a quiet piano ballad.
And fans are already pretty familiar with the tune. Before “reputation’s” release Taylor performed it during a break in ABC’s “Scandal,” and earlier this week she sang it on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.”
