The world knows Chip and Joanna Gaines as the stars of their hit HGTV series, Fixer Upper, but the pair has a life off the screen together, and they like to share images from it with their fans on Instagram. However, the latest picture Joanna posted has started a huge debate in the comments section.
The photo is a sweet shot of Chip smiling big as he leans over his and Joanna's 2-month-old son Crew at a doctor's office. Joanna probably didn't think twice about sharing the pic, but since it has gone up, it's gotten thousands of comments, and most don't have anything to do with how adorable both people in the photo look.
Joanna captioned the post, "Weigh in day at the doctor... @ChipGaines always seems to make things better." She didn't mention anything else, yet an overwhelming number of comments came from people telling Joanna not to get her child vaccinated. Those then led to others explaining why she absolutely should vaccinate.
Fans wrote things like:
"Vaccines are dangerous and if people love their kids they won't inject them with these poisons."
"I hate weighing in on things like this..But for those of you who don’t vaccinate - how about reading the latest report of measles outbreaks and see those children suffering — all could be avoided by vaccinations. Your biased research is flawed."
"it's no one's business what their thoughts are on vaccines. [Joanna] is posting an adorable picture of Chip and the baby, saying only 'weigh-in day.' Thank you, Jo, for sharing and posting this beautiful picture."
