For Custodial Workers’ Recognition Day, the students at Moody Elementary School in Alabama wanted to show their appreciation to Mr. Eugene, their janitor. He greets the kids every day with fist bumps and always has a smile for them in the halls, so the students and staff planned a big surprise to show him how much they value him.
Mr. Eugene was called to the gym and told there was a big mess to clean up, but when he walked in, he was greeted by close to 1,000 four to nine year olds who had gifts and hugs for him. The kindness from the kids brought him to tears. Watch the awesome moment below.
