Tim McGraw shared a sweet birthday message to his mom — and no, he didn’t reveal her age “because I’m still scared of her.” In a new post on his social media channels on Thursday (March 10), McGraw credits his mom with raising him and his sisters as a single mother, working three jobs to keep their family afloat. He also said one of his favorite things about his mom is watching her tell everyone at his concerts that she’s the superstar’s mother. McGraw said he can’t wait to hit the road and experience that again:
“So, my mom’s birthday’s coming up, and I’m not gonna say how old she is because I’m still scared of her. Which, everybody should be scared of their mom. But I’m just so proud of her because she worked her butt off working three jobs when we were kids, raising me and my sisters, and I think she did a pretty good job. My favorite thing is to see mom come to shows. She loves to go out and mingle with the audience and let everybody know that she’s my mom, and visits with people. I love you, mom. I can’t wait to get back on the road and have you come hang out and go out in the crowd and represent me.”
