Construction starts on Saugatuck beaches over the next couple of weeks.
They’re dredging the harbor so boats and ships can safely pass through the channel that connects the Kalamazoo River to Lake MI.
Construction equipment has already appeared on Oval Beach.
The construction should wrap up mid-July.
