We're just a few days away from Christmas, and that means one thing: Santa Claus is coming to town! And if you're looking for a good recipe to use to welcome the big man in red on his journey to deliver presents, Miranda Lambert (and her mom) has you covered!
On Instagram, Lambert shared how to make her mom's classic "Magic Peanut Butter Cookies for Santa," which is featured in her Y'all Eat Yet? cookbook, which she describes as "the crunchiest, easiest, yummiest things." And with just four ingredients, the description matches the end result.
To make the cookies, combine, one cup sugar, one cup crunch peanut butter (and it MUST be the crunchy kind!), one teaspoon of vanilla, and one egg until well combined. Then, roll the dough in to little balls and lineup on a baking sheet about two inches apart, and use a fork to flatten and make the signature pattern. Finally, bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes (or until you see brown edges on the top, and the most important step of all: enjoy! But make sure to leave some for Santa!
Miranda Lambert has been keeping herself busy 2025, as this year she released her Grammy-nominated duet with Chris Stapleton, "A Song To Sing," which follows her (also Grammy-nominated) 2024 album, Postcards From Texas. And while she's been actively touring, Lambert has also been working on material for her next project. In a previous interview with Country Living, she teased, "I'm pretty much always creating; it just looks different depending on where I am in the process," adding, "Sometimes, I'm just living my life, so that I have something to write about when I come back to the music. I’ve been writing with some friends in Nashville, too. I always let the music guide where I’m going next, and trust the process."
