Bunnie Xo shared an emotional moment with Jelly Roll after he scored a Grammy Award on Sunday (February 1).
While the clip was uploading to Instagram, the Dumb Blonde podcast host said her husband won a second award. Jelly Roll won in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for “Amen” with Shaboozey, and he won in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake.
“Baby, I knew it! I told you (that) you were gonna win a Grammy!” Bunnie Xo exclaimed on a phone call with Jelly Roll as the couple got ready in separate hotel rooms. Bunnie and her team broke into a dash to join the Grammy-winning artist, cursing — “f***!” — as they made their way through the hallways and the “slow” elevators.
“We did it!” Jelly Roll celebrated when Bunnie entered the room. She replied, “I told you!”
Jelly Roll shed a tear as he and Bunnie shared a long embrace. Watch the moment here (warning: language).
Bunnie later shared the moment her husband won his third Grammy of the evening. Jelly Roll scored the award for Best Contemporary Country Music Album for Beautifully Broken, and delivered a powerful, faith-driven acceptance speech. The Nashville, Tennessee-born superstar thanked his wife, acknowledged “there was a time in my life, y’all, I was broken,” and spotlighted the influence music and faith have had on his life. He shared in the emotional moment, “Jesus is for everybody. Jesus is not owned by one political party. Jesus is not owned by no music label. Jesus is Jesus and anybody can have a relationship with Him. I love you, Lord.”
The 2026 Grammy Awards show is airing live on CBS at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET, and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+.
Jelly Roll is among the country artists nominated at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, returning this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. See the list of country artists nominated here.
