Scotty McCreery is ready to get 'HITCHED'!
The country star asked longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal to marry him today (9/26) in the mountains of North Carolina.
Scotty, who helped design the custom engagement ring, calls his bride-to-be "the perfect girl" and his "true love."
“I’ve been planning this moment for so long that it feels surreal for it to have finally happened,” Scotty says. “I cannot wait to begin building our life together as husband and wife.
”Two began dating during their senior year of high school after first meeting 12 years prior in kindergarten. Gabi has appeared in several of Scotty’s music videos, including “The Trouble with Girls,” “Feelin’ It,” and “Five More Minutes.”
The two plan to wed sometime in 2018.
