Say Whaaa?!! Bawahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
A TV station in Chicago accidentally confused Pyeongchang (the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics) and P.F. Chang’s (the Asian-themed chain restaurant) in a news graphic over the weekend. A spokesperson for WLS-TV has since apologized and told the Chicago Tribune that the graphic was intended to be used in a satirical sports broadcast that aired Friday. Twitter users were quick to mock the station for its gaffe. "Hey, this mistake could happen to... PRACTICALLY NO ONE," one tweeted. Another joked, "If the Olympics were held at P.F. Chang’s, I’d be a gold medalist." P.F. Chang's also got in on the fun by tweeting, "Contrary to this broadcast, we’re not hosting the games." Source
