The Oscars have assembled a “crisis team” in case something goes wrong during the ceremony. A spokesperson for The Academy stated, "We have a whole crisis team, something we've never had before, and many plans in place. We've run many scenarios. So it is our hope that we will be prepared for anything that we may not anticipate right now but that we’re planning for just in case it does happen." The process would include swift action, something the Academy president says she regrets after Will Smith was able stay at the ceremony and accept an award after he slapped Chris Rock. Do you think a crisis team is the best solution if something happens during live television?
