Prince Harry is reportedly set to inherit $10.5 million after turning 40 this past weekend, thanks to a trust fund set up by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, in 1994. The Queen Mother, who passed away in 2002, left the fund for her great-grandchildren, with Harry receiving a larger share than his brother, Prince William, due to William’s future as heir to the British throne.

When Harry turned 30, he inherited around $13 million from his mother, Princess Diana. Harry said in his 2020 CBS interview that having that money allowed him and Meghan Markle to move to the U.S. after he stepped down from his royal duties.

Over the weekend, Harry celebrated his milestone birthday at a charity tennis tournament in Los Angeles, benefiting children in foster care. Reflecting on turning 40, he shared his excitement and commitment to continuing his charity work and being a dedicated father to his two children, Archie and Lilibet. Prince William and Kate Middleton also sent birthday wishes to Harry, posting a message on social media to mark the occasion.
