Police in New Haven, Connecticut responded to a surprising call recently.
A seal was found wandering on a road in the city. No one has a clue how the seal got there since the Long Island Sound is not that close.
Luckily, the young gray seal was taken in by the Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Program for rehab because he was in rough shape.
The goal is to release him back into the ocean.
