A video of Minnesota-based content creator Kate Heintzelman dyeing Easter eggs in her toilet bowl has gone viral, amassing over 3 million views and sparking widespread online debate.

In the clip, Heintzelman places two dozen eggs into the toilet, adds food coloring and baking soda, and pours in vinegar, resulting in tie-dye-like designs.

She explained that after a messy kitchen mishap with the dyeing process, she opted for the toilet bowl, stating, "I don't care if that gets stained."

A lot of viewers freaked out and called it unsanitary, with some jokingly blaming her for potential health risks. Heintzelman, who has nearly 500,000 Instagram followers, responded to the backlash by clarifying that her family uses dyed eggs solely for decoration and does not consume them.
