NBCUniversal Local’s Emmy-nominated docuseries “The Swift Effect” will return for a second season on October 2nd, premiering on Peacock and NBC-owned FAST channels to align with the release of Taylor Swift’s new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” which drops the next day.

The series, which debuted last year, explores how Swift’s brand has become a multi-billion-dollar force reshaping music, fashion, sports, education, and philanthropy.

The new episode will highlight Swift’s influence on fan-led media, Swift-focused journalism, and how traditional outlets cover her work.

Producer Cody Broadway shares in a statement, “With each new episode of ‘The Swift Effect,’ we’re showcasing another layer of Taylor Swift’s influence…not just as an artist, but as a force reshaping industries."
