Police in British Columbia got a surprise when they pulled over a “modified” Acura sedan for speeding recently.

Among the makeshift modifications were rebar and duct tape in place of a rear window, and a welded gate latch to secure the driver-side door.

Cpl. Michael McLaughlin of the B.C. Highway Patrol said of the car “It looked like it had been chewed up by Robosaurus.”

He added “It’s amazing that this particular car could go that fast without disintegrating.

The owner had put in some effort to hammer out the dents and spray paint the repairs, but his car was not roadworthy.”

The 22-year-old driver was given a speeding ticket and told to fix all the car’s issues.
