McDonald’s is tapping straight into some beloved childhood memories by bringing back its wildly popular Changeables Happy Meal toys nearly 40 years after their original debut.
The retro favorites, which transform from McDonald’s menu items into little robots, have been one of the most requested toy returns for decades and are finally back thanks to nonstop fan demand and social media buzz.
The move fits neatly into the brand’s nostalgia-first strategy, alongside throwback toys, Boo Buckets, and recent collectible drops that blend old-school fun with modern digital engagement.
More than ever, McDonald’s is finding that a little nostalgia goes a long way at the drive-thru.
