What looked like an argument between a Texas news anchor at KFDX-TV and the chief meteorologist has gone viral. Now the pair are explaining it.
The viral moment had anchor Carney Porter transitioning to another segment by saying there wasn't 'any rain' in the forecast…just moments after chief meteorologist Michael Bohling forecast rain.
Bohling stopped Porter short, saying, “Did you say that we don't have any rain in the forecast? I just said a second ago that we have rain in the forecast.” He added, “I just don't know why you don't listen to me.” and Porter shot back, “'Cause you're boring.”
Both released statements saying they are really close, and it was actually all said in good fun.
Porter did stress, “For those who found the moment uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize!”
