A “ridiculously heavy” tortoise escaped from a Georgia high school, and officers had a tough time returning him.
The Hinesville Police Department shared on Facebook that the creature escaped its enclosure and made it “ a surprising distance” before cops were called to the scene.
The post added, "With a little teamwork (and a lot of muscle), D-Watch officers managed to load up the very large, very determined and ridiculously heavy 'dinosaur' and return him safely to his enclosure."
Police added that next time they’ll do some stretching before lifting anything that heavy again.
