A man is facing charges after “testing” the “Wade Mode” on his Tesla Cybertruck by driving into a lake in Texas.
Jimmy Jack McDaniel allegedly told police he was trying to test the vehicle's "Wade Mode" when he went to take it for a spin in Grapevine Lake on Monday night.
The vehicle became disabled and had to be removed from the lake with a wrecker.
He's facing charges of operating a vehicle in a closed section of a park, no valid boat registration and water safety violations.
