It’s not every day that someone tries to break into a jail.
Jake Minervini-Blue attempted to break into the Oklahoma County Detention Center, and a deputy found him digging a hole by a wall of the building with a shovel.
Minervini-Blue said his girlfriend was inside, but later changed his story to say he was trying to plant a flower.
Investigators say Minervini-Blue had outstanding arrest warrants out of state and was quickly taken into custody.
The Sheriff’s Office said on social media: “Happy Ending: Mr. Minervini-Blue has been reunited with his girlfriend behind the bars of the Oklahoma County Jail.”
