A South Carolina toddler taught a Target cashier a real life lesson earlier this week – by refusing to trade the new doll she'd picked for one of a different race.
2-year-old Sophia Benner chose the African-American doll as her reward for completing potty training, but when she and her mom went to the checkout, the employee asked why she didn't pick one that looked more like her.
Sophia's mom went to Facebook to explain how the girl schooled the older woman by saying, “Yes, she does. She’s a doctor like I’m a doctor. And I’m a pretty girl and she’s a pretty girl. See her pretty hair? And see her stethoscope?”
The post apparently earned the clerk a severe reprimand – and racked up over 200,000 likes from Facebook users.
