- Several horses were killed in a barn fire overnight in Ionia. The barn was north of Saranac on Sayles Rd near Hawley Highway. Police don’t know what started the fire. More here.
- If you live in Kent County, keep an eye on your mailboxes and bank accounts. Police say it’s been about a month of a criminal couple stealing identities out of mailboxes and signing up for credit cards with fraudulent info. Police say Ada and Lowell have been hyper-targets of the identity theft. More here.
- This Saturday is Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters. It’s the first year it’s gone national! 112 shelters in 13 states are offering FREE adoptions at participating shelters.
