We knew it wouldn't be long until a network made a movie about the Depp vs Heard defamation trial -- and it seems like Lifetime could already be secretly casting.
Entertainment reporter, Roger Friedman, writes for Showbiz 411:
"No confirmation yet, but a TV movie of some kind is definitely being made about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Casting is going on now, and every potential actor auditioning for role is being made to sign NDAs. They are strictly not allowed to talk about it.
We know so very little at this point, but it's said that the movie won't just be about the trial, but their rocky marriage too.
Transcripts from the recent defamation trial are being reviewed. The movie won't be "ripped from the headlines," but will contain unaltered statements from the witness stand.
