After tons of hits and collaborations, Shania Twain has revealed which artist is “Still The One” she’d like to work with. The “I’m Gonna Getcha Good” singer confessed in a recent interview that it’s her dream to team up with Adele.
“I would love to sing with her,” Twain, 58, said of the 35-year-old singer-songwriter. “I think we would blend beautifully together. Obviously, that would be amazing.” Why Adele? Twain explained, “She’s a great singer and has her own style that is unique,” adding, “She’s a character on stage, too. She’s a fabulous performer.” Shania, who saw Adele’s “Weekends With Adele” residency in Vegas last November, recalled the first time meeting the “Easy On Me Singer,” at this year’s GRAMMYs. “We chatted about when I was in her audience, and I really loved the show. It was such a beautiful show.”
The feeling is mutual apparently. Adele has also expressed her admiration for Twain. After finding out she was at the Vega show, Adele post an IG story of the country star in the crowd with the caption, “Thank God you had a hat on @shaniatwain I would have self-combusted had I seen it was you. I adore you, I can't believe you came to my show.” Fun fact: Twain will be firing up her own Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood in May of 2024.
