Caleigh Hardy knew her now-husband was “the one” almost instantly.

Caleigh married award-winning singer-songwriter HARDY in a stunning ceremony on October 29, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. She reminisced on her love story with Kenzie Elizabeth on a recent episode of House Guest. Caleigh, who was born in California, met HARDY while she was attending University of Mississippi. She was home for winter break in 2017 when she received a DM that included “no words, no text,” but was simply a video HARDY filmed from a deer stand while hunting.

“I was like, ‘this is my man,’” Caleigh said.

She and HARDY began casually talking. She eventually received a message from him inviting her to The Lyric, a historic venue in Oxford, Mississippi. Caleigh met him at the show, and the pair “totally hit it off. …We were both so into each other.”

They saw each other again when Caleigh, then 20, traveled to Nashville for her 21st birthday. Caleigh told Kenzie that HARDY spent the weekend with her and her friends, and showed the group around Music City. HARDY agreed to go to Caleigh’s sorority formal with her, and “he asked me to be his girlfriend on the school bus ride on the way to the venue ,” she said. “We’ve been together ever since.”

Caleigh also noted that HARDY popped the question at The Lyric years they met at the venue. HARDY asked Caleigh’s dad for permission, and proposed in 2021. They got married the following year, and welcomed Baby No. 1 in March. Daughter Rosie Ryan Hardy was born on March 7.
